Lee Haakenson

Lee has over 25 years of experience in IT consulting and business analysis. He brings knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries, including travel, airline, customer loyalty, mortgage banking, and most recently the health care industry. Lee has served in a wide range of capacities, from Software Engineer to Executive Advisor.

His range of experience has allowed him to effectively communicate and work with every level of an organization, from staff to senior at a not-for-profit health care plan, assisting in developing and refining processes and procedures for both Medicare and Medicaid product offerings. Lee has assisted in developing processes for reconciliation of Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D products, submission of encounter data, and analysis of risk scores and risk management.

Lee has also advised the plan on reporting and data needs. Lee served for ten years as President and CEO of Press Any Key, Inc., a service company that provided Consulting, Project Management, and Programming services to the Airline, Loyalty, and Real Estate industries. He also served as President of Concart, Inc. before joining Veracity Data Systems.

Scott Brandt

Scott brings 20 years of experience in software development to bear in his role at Veracity Data Systems. His experience in business analysis, software architecture, implementing software solutions as well as organizing and leading software services with a customer centered focus help to ensure that Veracity delivers the best solutions for its customers.

Most recently Scott worked as a Senior Principal Engineer with Aspect Software where he was responsible for architecture and development of eCRM applications. In this role Scott was not only responsible for product development but also dealt directly with executive and support management at many of the most recognized financial companies. Scott helped these companies shape their CRM business practices to gain the most advantage from their customer data using Aspect’s eCRM products.

Prior to Aspect Software, Scott was VP of Engineering at Positive Software Systems where he was responsible for development and services related to the same CRM product which led to the purchase of Positive Software by their partner Aspect Software. Scott has held positions as an independent consultant working with CRM applications for the airline industry. As well as lead engineering roles at DNA Enterprises, Alcatel and DSC Communications where he gained extensive experience in architecture and development of real-time embedded applications for the telecommunications equipment market. Scott holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.

James Tuggey

James has worked in the software industry for 15 years, exclusively with relational database design and client/server application development. His experience includes the complete life-cycle of software development, sales support, architect, development/implementation and product support.

His recent experience includes work as a Principal Engineer with Aspect Software where he was solely responsible for architecture, development and support of the first generation eCRM application. Being the sole person responsible for this application he dealt directly with customer concerns and managed product changes for Fortune 500 financial companies. Previously James was Director of Research and Development at Positive Software Systems. James managed his own consulting company for several year providing consulting services for customer loyalty software to the airline industry. James earned his associates degree in Computer Science from Texas State Technical College in 1993. He also served six years as an Electronic Technician with the U.S. Navy being honorably discharged in 1990.
